Accountability Standards
Corrections & Revisions Policy
How Chronicle Global promptly acknowledges, corrects, and documents factual updates across all published intelligence.
1. Commitment to Immediate Rectification
Accuracy is the bedrock of Chronicle Global. When a factual error is discovered or brought to our attention by readers, subject entities, or originating wire services, our editorial team investigates and issues a correction immediately upon verification.
2. Transparent Correction Notices
We do not quietly rewrite history. When substantive factual changes are made:
- A prominent Official Correction Notice is displayed directly on the article page.
- The notice explicitly states what was changed, when it changed (timestamped in UTC), and the editorial rationale.
- Minor typographical or grammatical fixes that do not alter the factual meaning are corrected without a formal notice.
3. How to Submit a Correction Request
Readers, institutions, and journalists may submit correction requests with supporting evidence to our editorial desk at corrections@chronicle-global.org.
Please include the exact article URL, the specific claim in question, and documentation or primary links refuting the statement.
